Polaris
The central portal: what it stores, how it decides, and every page of the UI.
Polaris is a Laravel application with a MariaDB database. It never scans anything itself — satellites do. Polaris
- plans: turns test plans, automatic monitoring and the tenant’s targets into a plan bundle per satellite (only the targets that satellite may and can reach),
- ingests: validates every uploaded result strictly, keeps the raw output and turns it into hosts, services, certificates, DNS records and paths,
- correlates: merges addresses into hosts and keeps per-satellite observations and history,
- judges: analyzers and the exposure policy open and resolve findings,
- tells: notifications, reports, the dashboard and maps,
- enriches: Certificate Transparency, routing and registry data for public IPs, address lookup for locations.
